This place for me was a joyful discovery. It is hidden in the shade of huge palm trees and tropical vegetation. Green and quiet. A perfect place for meditation and relaxing holiday to the sound of birdsong. The lodge has everything you need to relax. Ocean right next to it is the path along the stream and displays the Papanasam Beach. If you walk to the left along the beach, you can find many beautiful towns for employment practices by the ocean.

I love royal farm stay and varkala,Because it was very hot in Varkala, many times we thought of taking up an ac room somewhere else, but Arun's good nature and caring behaviour just did not let us leave his place and go somewhere else. Its a green quite place, in the middle of north cliff and South beach. He also serves really nice food and juices. To sum it up, it felt like home. And if you a free spirited traveller and not a resort freak, I recommend this place.

''Me and my husband really enjoyed our stay with royal farm stay ! The location of this place is perfect, it is set amongst lots of trees and nature and is only five minute walk to the temple, beach, restaurants and shops. It is such a peaceful place to stay.During our stay and allowed us to stay 2 days longer than we had planned.  We stayed in this place 2 weeks and it was beautiful time. Place located in the jungle that makes this place quite and calm and it's just 5 min to the beach. If I'll go to varkala again I'll go only to royal farm stay!
